I anticipate each new issue that Theme puts out. When the first issue came out, what with the coverage from Hiroshi Fujiwara to John Jay of Wieden + Kennedy, to Twist, I thought this is it, there’s no way they’re gonna top this with their next issue.
And lo and behold, they killed it again and they do it each and every time. Each issue is more or less like a literary journal with a sneak peek as to some fascinating characters.
It’s The National Geographic for the Asian American Experience, and an honest portrayal of life for everyone to enjoy.

it’s cool to finally see an asian focused magazine that features more than just the latest sneakers and collectibles. all of that stuff is in there for sure, but theme offers up so much more.
whether you’re in to fine art, literature, clothing, music or whatever, theme is a must-have for anyone interested in global asian culture.

doesnt matter what ur into. creative minds will be inspired by the words and pictures in here. You know a lot of time is put into every single page because even tho they jam a lot in, almost every page represents a different person. They show respect to the ppl they feature, thus respecting the reader. Good act to follow.
